These Terms of Use explain how Clipsana and Clipsana Pro are provided. Please read them before using the app or buying Pro. The app is distributed through Apple's App Store. Your use of the app is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement and the applicable App Store terms. These Terms explain the Clipsana service and purchases; they do not replace rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
1. Who provides Clipsana
Clipsana is provided by Marcin Bieda D BEST ("we", "us" or "our"). You can contact us about the app, purchases, withdrawal requests or complaints at hello@dbest.pl. Our trader contact details for EU customers, including our postal address and phone number, are available on Clipsana's App Store page. Apple provides the App Store and handles App Store payments; RevenueCat helps us verify purchases and manage access to Pro.
2. What the app does
Clipsana lets you select videos, edit them on your device, preview the result and export a new video. Features include local editing and the Smart Match tool, which compares video metadata rather than recognising people or movements. Available features, supported formats and device requirements may change with app updates. The descriptions in the app and the App Store listing for your version explain the current functionality.
Clipsana does not require a Clipsana account. The app needs the device permissions relevant to the action you choose, such as access to selected videos or permission to save an export to Photos. You can change Photos permissions in iOS or iPadOS settings. An item held only in iCloud Photos may need to download to your device before Clipsana can use it; Apple controls that download.
Editing, previewing and exporting take place on your device. We do not offer cloud storage or cross-device syncing for your video projects. Saved Clips are stored in the app's local storage. You are responsible for keeping copies of original and exported media that you wish to retain. Removing the app can remove its locally saved projects; an export already saved to Photos is managed separately by Photos and your device or iCloud settings.
3. Your media and permitted use
You keep the rights you have in videos and other material you bring into Clipsana. The app does not require you to transfer ownership of that material to us. Please use material only when you have the necessary rights and permissions, including rights relating to other people's images, voices, music and personal data. When using an export, respect any applicable rights in the audio or other third-party material it contains.
The soundtracks bundled with Clipsana were generated using a paid Suno Pro subscription and downloaded through Suno's permitted download channel. Our rights to use these tracks are based on Suno's Terms of Service effective September 3, 2026, which were in effect when these Clipsana Terms were last updated. Under those terms, eligible Pro output may be used commercially after a permitted download, subject to Suno's conditions. Suno does not guarantee that AI-generated output qualifies for copyright protection.
You may include these bundled soundtracks in videos exported from Clipsana, including videos for commercial use, advertising or client work, and publish or share those completed videos. This permission continues for videos exported while the soundtrack was available in Clipsana. You may not extract a soundtrack for separate use, distribute or sell it as an audio file, sublicense it separately, or build a music library from it. Suno's terms govern our use of Suno; this paragraph sets out the permission we give you as a Clipsana user. You remain responsible for rights in material you supply and for the rules of platforms on which you publish.
You may use Clipsana for lawful personal or professional purposes. Do not use the app in a way that violates another person's rights, applicable law, Apple's platform rules or the rights attached to content available in the app. Your use of the app itself is licensed under Apple's Standard EULA linked above.
4. Free use and Clipsana Pro
The free version lets you export video with a Clipsana watermark. Clipsana Pro currently enables export without that watermark. We may add effects or give Pro users early access to selected new effects in future versions, but no particular future effect or release date is promised by a purchase today. The app may offer Pro through a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, or a one-time, non-consumable lifetime purchase, depending on which products are available in your App Store region. These options grant the same Pro access available for your app version. A lifetime purchase does not renew or incur recurring charges; it gives non-expiring Pro access for this app, subject to the app continuing to be available and mandatory consumer rights.
The products, period, full price, currency, applicable taxes and any offer are shown in the App Store purchase flow before you confirm a purchase. Those store details govern the amount charged. There is currently no free trial. If one is introduced later, its duration and price after the trial will be shown before purchase. Do not rely on an example or test price as a production price.
5. Subscriptions and payment
Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. Apple charges the payment method associated with your Apple Account under its purchase terms. If a free trial or introductory offer is offered, the purchase screen will show its duration and the amount charged when it ends. Apple may handle a price change, consent request, billing problem or refund under its rules and applicable law.
You can view, change or cancel an App Store subscription in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your Apple device, or using Apple's other subscription-management methods. Cancellation generally stops future renewals; it does not normally remove access already paid for before the current period ends. Removing Clipsana or turning off optional Analytics does not cancel a subscription. If you buy lifetime access while a subscription is active, the lifetime purchase does not automatically cancel the subscription; cancel it separately if you do not want further renewals.
You can use Restore purchases in Clipsana to ask Apple and RevenueCat to restore eligible access. Pro access depends on the purchase information returned by the store and RevenueCat. A newly installed app may need a network connection to verify a purchase. If access is missing, try Restore purchases and then contact us by email with details of the problem. Do not send payment-card details.
6. Refunds, withdrawal rights and complaints
If you bought a product through the App Store, you can request a refund from Apple using the Apple Account used for the purchase. You may also contact us about a purchase or app problem. We will assess complaints under applicable consumer law and work with Apple where the store must process a payment or refund.
If you are a consumer protected by Polish or other applicable EU distance-selling law, you generally have 14 days from conclusion of a distance contract to withdraw without giving a reason, subject to the statutory rules and exceptions for digital content and services. An exception for digital content supplied immediately applies only if the legal conditions, including any required prior express consent, acknowledgement and confirmation, have been met; we do not treat a purchase as an automatic waiver. Where a digital service begins during the withdrawal period at your request, applicable law may allow a proportionate charge for service already supplied. To exercise a withdrawal right, send a clear statement to hello@dbest.pl before the deadline; no special wording is required. You may use a consumer withdrawal template. We will confirm receipt and handle any applicable refund in accordance with law and the App Store purchase process. Nothing in these Terms removes or narrows statutory rights.
To make a complaint, email hello@dbest.pl and describe the feature, purchase or error, the relevant date and what resolution you seek. Please do not send private videos unless we specifically request them and you choose to provide them. We may ask for details needed to identify an anonymous purchase or reproduce a technical issue. You can also use applicable out-of-court consumer dispute-resolution procedures where available.
7. Updates and availability
We may release updates to fix faults, maintain security or change features. Some functions depend on compatible Apple devices, system permissions, supported media and the availability of Apple or RevenueCat services. We cannot promise that every source video or format will work. Where an update materially affects an ongoing paid service, we will provide any notice and remedies required by applicable law.
We may stop offering new purchases or discontinue the app. If that happens, existing purchases and any rights or remedies under applicable law will be respected. A lifetime purchase is not a promise that Apple will distribute the app or that a particular operating system or device will be supported forever.
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how Clipsana handles information about videos, purchases, analytics, crash reports and support messages.
9. Liability and consumer rights
We aim to provide a functional app and support. The app may be unable to process unsupported or damaged source files, and functions that depend on Apple or RevenueCat services may be interrupted when those services are unavailable. Please keep copies of media you wish to retain. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer protections and remedies for digital content or services that do not conform to the contract.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the app, purchase options or law changes. The date above identifies the published version. Material changes affecting an existing paid relationship will be communicated as required by law. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights you already acquired. If you have questions about a change, contact us before making a new purchase.
11. Applicable law and contact
These Terms are governed by Polish law, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections of the law of the country where they habitually live when those protections apply. Any dispute may be brought before a court competent under applicable law. For questions or complaints, contact Marcin Bieda D BEST at hello@dbest.pl.
